Our annual Christmas jumper day took place last week with over 30 members of our community getting involved.  We have links across Cheshire now with sites in Warrington and Altrincham and it was amazing to see the interactions and shared values of our members.  Many of us have missed the opportunity to enjoy events together so our festive celebration felt like an early opportunity for people to pull together and respect a fine tradition.  Yes that’s right what could be finer than the annual competition of finding the office’s worst jumper?

My three learnings from this event are;

– Small gestures matter.  Wishing a stranger a good day or paying a compliment goes a long way

– Remote workers value sharing

– You can now buy festive face masks ( who knew ? )
