by Steve Upham : altspace Coworking Office
Last Thursday 15 altspacers met up in Altrincham for an amazing Summer Social. There was a lot to celebrate as we toasted 2 years in business and the start of an amazing business journey together. Despite the diary clash with the World Cup Opening Ceremony with Robbie Williams we braved it out to Tre Ciccio and Pi bar in Altrincham. The choice of venues was actually highly relevant to our community, we were confident that these small businesses would deliver.
Part of our ethos has always been to support smaller, local independents. Our members range in age, business background and scale. We’ve sole traders through to SME’s now in the space however we all value the little man who gives amazing value and service. Tre Ciccio is a lovely Italian based on Moss Lane in Altrincham with fantastic food and some very impressive design. The roof was rolled back to see the late summer sun and we all enjoyed the fizz, pizza and canapés.
Following this we ventured to Pi Bar who stay loyal to their roots serving tasty local and internationally sourced ales and beers. This has been an altspace favourite since we moved in 18 months ago and remains distinctive in a bustling market town. We hope that we continue to grow and support more local businesses over the next 5 years. Importantly this benefits the many in Altrincham and keeps the area unique in Cheshire.
